Playboy model accused of battering girl in loo appears in court
London, Oct 13 : A Playboy model has appeared in court after she was accused of battering a girl in a club toilet.
Louise Glover, who is the first British model to be named “Model of the Year” in Playboy Special Editions, was accused by Maxine Hardcastle, 23 of having torn out handfuls of her hair and fracturing her nose.
Hardcastle, who is the daughter of 1980s pop star Paul, who recorded Vietnam hit 19, was accused by Glover of flirting with her husband.
“She punched me in the face. I was on the floor and she picked me up by the hair and did it again,” the Sun quoted Hardcastle as telling Hove Crown Court, East Sussex.
“There was blood everywhere. Then she tried to put my head in the toilet. I walked out and everybody was screaming.
“Most of my hair was gone. My nose was on the other side of my face. I looked like I had tomato ketchup all over me,” she added.
Hardcastle said she was left with a bald patch after the attack two years ago in Brighton.
But Glover, 26, of Epping, Essex, claims she acted in self-defence, and denies assault causing actual bodily harm.
The jury was discharged over a legal wrangle and the case was adjourned for two months.
