Over 25,000 thousand people have already gathered at Patna's Gandhi Maidan to attend his 'Hunkar Rally', reports said.
In order to make the rally a grand success, special traffic arrangements have been made at the two bridges across river Ganga leading to Patna.
The Bihar BJP has arranged 11 trains and 3000 buses to ferry people from all parts of the state to the rally, which is expected to be attended by all the 91 BJP legislators in Bihar.
Meanwhile, hours before the rally, a crude bomb exploded in Patna railway station on Sunday which left one person injured.
According to reports, two country-made bombs were found at the station which were later defused.
Bomb disposal squads have reached the spot.
The injured person was taken to a hospital.
The rally comes just months after the Janata Dal (United) [JD-U] announced its decision to sever ties with the BJP, ending a 17-year-old alliance and drawing clearer battle lines ahead of national elections less than a year away.
