"I go with that confidence, certainly," Dikshit told CNN-IBN when asked if she is confident that she will get a fourth term.
Dikshit also dismissed any challenge posed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief ministerial candidates Arvind Kejriwal and Harsh Vardhan respectively.
"They are credible for their parties, the people will decide on the December 4 who is more credible. Why don't you leave it to the people," she said.
Ahead of the assembly polls in Delhi, AAP architect Arvind Kejriwal has formally invited Dikshit for a public debate.
Kejriwal has sent a formal invitation to the Delhi Chief Minister.
"Arvind Kejriwal has invited Sheila Dikshit for public debate. Will she accept the invitation?" the AAP posted on its Facebook page.
In his invitation letter to Dikshit, Kejriwal said: "Is patra ke jariye main apko jancharcha ke lia oupcharik rup se amantrit karta hun. Agar ap thik samjhe to is jancharcha mein hamein Bhajpa ki aur se Dr.Harsh Vardhan ko bhi amontrit karna chahiye. (Through this letter I am formally inviting for a public debate. If feel it is correct then we should also invite BJP's Harsh Vardhan for this debate.)."
He said he will be waiting for Dikshit's reply.
Dikshit earlier said she was ready for a public debate with Kejriwal.
"Let Arvind Kejriwal write to me officially, laying out the format and the terms and conditions and I will look into these. I am not shy of a political debate. I have debated with Sushma Swaraj in the past. Public debates are healthy in a democracy," the Delhi Chief Minister told Headlines Today.
