One slipped to death, another injured after felling into nallah

Srinagar, Mar 21 : One person slipped to death from a mountain while another was injured when he fell into a nallah in north Kashmir, official sources said here today.

They said one Altaf Ahmad Sheikh slipped from a mountain at Bagbala Karnah in north Kashmir district of Kupwara.

He died on the spot, they said, adding that police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.

They said another person Karim Uddin was crossing a wooden bridge when he slipped into Batamoug nallah at Karnah. He was immediately rescued and admitted to hospital.
