Journalist Ashutosh joins AAP

New Delhi, Jan 11 : Senior television journalist Ashutosh has formally joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday.

Ashutosh on Thursday resigned as the Managing Editor of IBN7.

"Prominent Indian TV journalist Ashutosh, ex-managing editor of IBN7 officially joined AAP," AAP tweeted.

While addressing a press conference, Ashutosh said: "You all must be thinking why a journalist is joining politics."

"I think, there are several moments in history when you have to play an important role. And if you don't do this and instead choose to stay silent then history is not going to forgive you," he said.
