"Arvind Kejriwal is better now but has weakness, had 100 fever last night, complete bedrest for next 2-3days, will be on antibiotics," Dr. Vipin Mittal, who is treating the newly elected Chief Minister, said.
"Kejriwal wanted to attend office for two hours today, but I advised him not to do this. Kejriwal's blood pressure is now normal and he is recovering well," Dr. Mittal added.
The doctor said Kejriwal also wanted to meet the family of slain Delhi Police constable Vinod Kumar, but he has advised him against stepping out.
"I have got to know that Vinod Kumar's family lives in Muzarfarnagar. I have clearly asked Kejriwal not to go there because he is not in a such condition to go out of Delhi," Mittal said.
Kejriwal had yesterday granted Rs one crore financial assistance to the family of the Delhi Police constable, who was allegedly beaten to death by suspected liquor mafia in Ghitorni area of South Delhi last week.
48-year-old Kumar was beaten to death by the assailants when he accompanied a team of excise department officials during a raid in Ghitorni on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
