Determined to win LS polls: Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi, Dec 28 : Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday said her party is determined to win the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking on occasion of the 128th foundation day of the Congress in Delhi, Gandhi said: "We have a big challenge in front of us. But we are united and determined to win."

She pulled up the media for accusing the Congress of corruption.

"I request the media to turn their focus on other states led by other parties and see what is being done there to fight corruption," said Gandhi.

"Congress has always fought against corruption. Media must check the track records of Congress-ruled states," she said.

Gandhi said the Adarsh Housing Society scam in Mumbai will be resolved soon.

Pertinently, the Maharashtra Cabinet has rejected a judicial commission's report on the scam.

On the party's foundation day, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said, "We will need a fresh thinking and innovative ways to handle the tasks at hand."
