New Delhi, Mar 18 : Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday attacked Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma in the Lok Sabha for 'linking' him with terrorists.

Yadav and SP members created ruckus in the Lower House of the Indian Parliament and demanded Verma's resignation for making comments against the SP supremo.

During the Zero Hour, SP members rushed to the Well of the House and protested against the Union Minister.

"He must tender apology for his remarks", Yadav said.

Triggering a controversy, Verma recently said Yadav had links with terrorists.

"He has relations with the terrorists," Verma said while speaking at a function in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district recently.

Verma, however, on Monday said he will not resign.

"I stand by what I said. I won't quit. Who is Mulayam to ask for my removal?" Verma said in the Lok Sabha.

Amid ruckus, the Lower House of the Indian Parliament was later adjourned till 2 pm.
