Two abducted youths rescued
Chhapra, Jan 29 : Two youths abducted from Dighwara police station area on Sunday last, were rescued from Alimpur riverine under same police station area in Saran district today
Superintendent of Police Sujeet Kumar said here two youths -- Nagendra Pandey and Panwan Kumar Singh -- were abducted from Dighwara police station, while they were on way to Hajipur on January 27. On the basis of FIR lodged in this connection, raids were conducted at several places in Saran district, but there was no success in the case till late last night
"Police received vital clue about location of abductors follwing which raid was conducted at a hideout in Alimpur riverine today," Mr Kumar said adding that Nagendra and Pawan were rescued during the operation and an abductor was also nabbed
Arrested abductor was identified as Chhatradhari Singh, a homeguard jawan, Mr Kumar said and added that he was being interrogated in this connection
