'ULFA blows gas pipeline in Assam
Guwahati, Jan 29 : The hardliner ULFA faction today claimed of blowing off a gas pipeline in eastern Assam's Tinsukia district
A gas pipeline in Mamoroni in Tinsukia district was reported late last night, for which the ULFA claimed responsibility today
In an emailed statement, the outfit said the blast was carried out by Magnetic Programmable Time Device (MPTD)
Official sources, however, have not confirmed the ULFA's involvement
The outfit has past record of claiming responsibility for blasts/fires in oil installations in the state even when it was not involved
