Wayne and Coleen Rooney plan to buy 12m-pound Cheshire mansion
Coleen Rooney, who is due to give birth to a baby boy in May, has convinced hubby Wayne that an eight-bedroom 12 million-pound mansion in Cheshire, would be the perfect place to bring up son Kai and his new brother.
The couple is on the verge of making an offer on the property, owned by ex-footballer Ashley Ward and his interior designer wife Dawn, the Mirror reported.
It's just a few miles from the Rooney's current home in Alderley Edge but, with 20 acres of land, has much bigger grounds.
According to a source, the Rooneys have got an amazing place and have spent a huge amount of money installing a cinema, sweeping staircase, sports stadium and triple garage.
It's a great place but the problem is it doesn't have much land at all. It's penned in on all sides by other properties, the source said.
"The house they are looking at is absolutely spectacular. It has every luxury feature anyone could ever want. On top of that it has 20 acres so they will have the space and the freedom to add to it and create their perfect family home. They want to build a huge outdoor pool and a massive adventure playground. It would be a paradise for two little boys growing up," the source added.
