Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati said she will do all she can to stop Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the frontrunner to represent the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014 elections, from becoming Prime Minister.
The right-wing Hindu nationalist outfit was "dreaming" of making Modi the Prime Minister after the Lok Sabha polls, but her party would not allow that to happen, Mayawati has said.
Slamming Modi for strengthening "communal forces", she said the BSP would never support the BJP for making Modi the prime minister.
She also accused the BJP of stalling the passage of the quota in promotions bill in the Lok Sabha and said the party was in league with the Congress on stalling the issue.
In an interview to a TV channel, Mayawati even said she would consider contesting the 2014 elections and project herself as a Prime Ministerial candidate.
