Arab international plastics and rubber industry (Arabplast), is organising a trade show in Dubai from January 7 to 10, 2013, showcasing a wide array of plastics from raw materials to semi-finished and finished plastic goods.
Over 26,000 visitors, participants from 110 countries are expected to attend the event. For indian plastics and petrochemicals industry, Arabplast 2013 will be held at World Trade Center, Dubai at the same time in January. over 100 players from various segments of indian plastic industry shall be participating at this event.
'Arabplast is one of the prime plastic show for plexconcil,and this time it is different for us as we are organising the indian participation eith active support from Departmrnt of commerce, under its market access initiative' said R P Kalyanpur,Executive Director, The plastic export promotion council (Plexconcil).
Through Arabplast, Plexconcil is not only targeting the UAE market but also the entire Middle East and African region. Export from the Indian plastic industry in 2011 were 7014 million accounting for 2.3 percent of india's total exports in 2011, which stood at about 307 billion.
