Acne or acne vulgaris is supposed to be one of the most disgusting ailments that drives you crazy. Acne is nothing but a skin malfunction and quite a good number of people around the world suffer from this ailment.

The male sex hormones at puberty are noticed to undergo a particular change. This is the time when the Follicular glands grow bigger as a result of the increase of the male sex hormones. Scientific researches claim stress to be one of the major causes of Acne. The National Institute of Health, US has insisted upon this fact.

Using anabolic steroids to an excessive level can expose the person to the threat of severe Acne. Apart from these, skimmed milk, cottage cheese, cream cheese etc can cause Acne.

Treatment

Acne can be treated and cured in various methods. Here are some examples.

1. Bactericidal products with Benzoyl Peroxide would be highly useful for the cure of Acne.

2. Apt skin care would help in removing bacteria.

3. Topical antibiotics like erythromycin, clindamycin or tetracycline would be fine to cure Acne.

4.Oral antibiotics such as doxycycline, minocycline etc have to taken.

5. In case of females hormonal treatments are also prescribed.

6. Laser treatment as well as surgery options is also there.
