New Delhi, Feb 6 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi government has handed a Commonwealth Games (CWG) related scam case to its anti-corruption bureau (ACB) for probe, bringing embarrassment for former chief minister Sheila Dikshit .

This is the first case to its anti corruption unit by the AAP government after it assumed power and is linked to Dixit who has been earlier indicted by the Shunglu Committee appointed by the Prime Minister on the issue.

The case on the pricing of the street lighting project during the preparation for the Games in 2010.

An FIR might be filed against former chief minister Sheila Dikshit too.

AAP was under pressure to act against Dikshit since it had accused her of involvement in the CWG scam.

The Shunglu panel had blamed Sheila Dikshit and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on the pricing of the street lights.

Then Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna was also indicted by the committee for the procedural violations.
