Ex-FA chief David Dein sent 'skinny big t***ed broad' email to Richard Scudamore
Former Arsenal and FA chief David Dein has reportedly gotten involved in Richard Scudamore's sexist email for emailing a joke about 'skinny big-t***ed broads' to the Premier League chief executive.
Dein, who is married and has three children, had sent a joke about 'skinny big t***ed broads' to close friend Scudamore's Premier League account, who later forwarded the message to a lawyer friend.
Dein, who is a driving force in women's football and a creator of the Premier League, is expected to sit together with Scudamore at Saturday's FA Cup final between Arsenal and Hull City, the Mirror reported.
In the past the former president of the Arsenal Ladies team, had been highly critical of sexism in the sport, saying that it is hypocrisy for football to call itself a family game and then keep women out of the boardroom.
Meanwhile, FA's Inclusion Advisory Board boss Edward Lord said in his blog that Scudamore's apology for the sexist remarks were 'insincere, adding that if it is sincere then the Premier League boss did not believe that what he had written was wrong less than a week ago.
Lord added that on that basis it appears to him that h Scudamore's position is now looking untenable.
