Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu Friday congratulated BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the NDA's victory in Lok Sabha elections.

Naidu, whose party returned to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) before the polls, spoke to Modi over phone and greeted him.

The BJP leader also congratulated Naidu for TDP-BJP alliance's victory in Seemandhra, Naidu told reporters.

The TDP president said they would work together to provide corruption-free governance at the centre. He said people wanted a stable government and a good leader as the prime minister.

"I had predicted that the NDA will get 300 seats but I think it will cross 330 seats," said the former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP-BJP alliance in Seemandhra has bagged three Lok Sabha seats and was ahead in 13 constituencies. It was also leading in two parliamentary constituencies in Telangana.
