More than 500 delegates from across the country are participating in a three-day Green Summit 2014 to be held here from June 5 to 7.

The annual renewable energy event, organised by Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) and M M Activ Sci-Tech Communications Pvt Ltd was supported by the Karnataka Government.

FKCCI President R Shivakumar said, "The aim of the summit is to promote the exchange of ideas and to help participants stay updated on industry developments, technology, market and policy trends.

"It will bring together government decision makers, industry representatives, investors and customers on one platform to address critical questions about the growth and widespread adoption of renewable energy," he said in a release here today.

Jagadish Pattankar of MM Activ said the event would showcase immense business and transformational opportunities in renewable energy across all segments.

He said during the three-day event, there would be discussions on key issues related to renewable energy segments including, solar (PV and thermal), wind, biomass and waste to energy.

It will also provide a unique business platform for investors and buyers across renewable energy industry segments to interact and initiate dialogues for business exchange.
