Narendra Modi seeks 300 seats for stable NDA government
BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narandra Modi today asked voters in Himachal Pradesh to give at least 300 seats to the NDA front as a weak government at the Centre could not bring out this nation from the deep morass it found itself to be in.
Mr Modi, who addressed three rallies in the state, met party workers at Solan where he demanded that all the four seats of this state should go in favour of the party.
The Congress virtually put this nation in a deep gorge and the country need a powerful person to bring it out from there and he would able to do so if he would get 300 seats at the Centre.
'Desh aaj kahi main pada hi jisai bhar nikalanai kay liya aik Takatwar Kandon ki Jarurat hai per main aisa tab kar pawnu ga jab aap mujhai teen soa Kamal Khila kar daingay 'Mr Modi said.
Wooing youth voters, he cautioned them that they should opt for strong and progressive rule in the Centre so that their next five years did not go in vain.
Mr Modi also praised the people of this hill state who are serving in armed forces in large number. The farmers of this hill state play an important role in the national economy but under UPA rule they were forced to commit suicide due to anti-farmers' policy.
The Congress government has almost changed the meaning of slogan 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' by its wrong policy against them, Mr Modi said saying that Congress had now changed this slogan to 'Maro Jawan Maro Marro Kissan'.
Earlier Mr Modi addressed public gatherings at Palampur and Mandi.
