Vaiko cautions MK on Modi remarks
Marumalarchi DMK General Secetary Vaiko today warned DMK President M Karunanidhi over his criticism of BJP's Prime Ministerial Candidate Naredra Modi's marital status saying if he continued to act in similar manner, Mr Karunanidhi would receive a 'suitable answer.'
Mr Vaiko made this observation here today while electioneering for T R Pachamuthu of the Indian Janayaka katchi (IJK) which is a constituent of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) who is contesting from Perambalur Lok Sabha Constituency.
Mr Vaiko also pointed out Mr Modi's marital status should not be linked with his current position.
He further said if Mr Modi became the Prime Minister, several vexed issues affecting the interest of Tamil Nadu namely Cauvery water dispute and Mullaiperiyar Dam issue will receive a permanent solution. If the people of the country give a chance to Mr Modi to become the next Prime Minister, the country will lead in all sectors.
