The Railways decided to run weekly Super-fast express trains between Santragachhi and Ernakulam to clear summer rush.

According to East Coast Railway(ECR) Waltair Division Officials The train No. 02851 Santragachhi (Howrah) - Ernakulam weekly super-fast express will leave Santragachhi on Saturdays from April 12 to June 28 (11 trips) at 1615hrs reaches Visakhapatnam on Sunday arrival at 0440 hrs and departure at 0500hrs and reaches Ernakulam on Monday at 06.00hrs.

In return direction the train No. 02852 Ernakulam- Santragachhi weekly super-fast express will leave Ernakulam on Tuesdays from April 15 to July 1 (11 trips) at 0850hrs reaches Visakhapatnam on Wednesday at 1115hrs and departure at 1135hrs which will reach Santragachhi (Howrah) on the next day (early hours of Thursday) at 0300hrs.

These pair of trains will also stop at Bhadrak, Jajpurkeonjhar Road, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Viziagaram over East Coast Railway.

The train runs with the composition of Two Third AC coaches, Eight Sleeper class coaches, Five General second class coaches and Two second class luggage cum sitting coaches.
