Permanent warrant against listed anti-social criminals in Agartala
A local court in Agartala today issued permanent warrant against all listed criminals involved in anti-social activities to ensure their arrest for restoration of peace in the city.
Police sources here said the state government would soon seek help from interpol to arrest those criminals sheltering in neighboring countries including Bangladesh.
Recently, the state home department published a list of criminals active in Agartala and its surroundings and sought public support for their arrest but it did not yield much result. Meanwhile, police has sealed all the bank accounts and immovable assets of a few criminals residing the city but was not able to arrest them.
