Kerala govt files appeal in CM land deal case: next hearing
The state government today filed an appeal against the remarks made by High Court Judge against the functioning of the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's office.
A Division Bench, comprising Justice S K M Joseph and K K Jaysankar Nambiar adjourned the appeal to further hearing on tomorrow.
While handing over the case related to land deals at Kadakampally and Kalamassery to the CBI, Justice Harun Al Rashid had observed that the allegation in the land case against the Chief Minister's office was very serious and the case was fit for CBI investigation.
Mr Chandy's former gunman Salim Raj was the key accused in the case.
