Why one should indulge in spa treatments

New Delhi, Feb 19 : In today's hectic life, many people completely ignore the health of their bodies and minds, but indulging in spa treatments once in a while can help them feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

Actress Shilpa Shetty, who owns Iosis Spa, said that spa treatments especially spa massages are known to help reduce the stress levels immensely good massage reduces the presence of stress hormone cortisol.

With a reduction in stress levels, heart rate, blood pressure return back to normal leaving you with a healthier body and mind, Shetty added.

Rod Anker, Creative Director of Monsoon Salon and Spa, that has recently been conferred with the Best Day Spa Award, said that spa sessions are great mood elevators and spa massages have been known to provide pain relief, mood elevation and stress free environment.

Anker also advised regular spa sessions to those suffering from bloating or water retention.
