This is fantastic news for our creative industry! 🇮🇳 Finally India is getting recognition in global media space. IICT in Mumbai will be game-changer just like IITs were for engineering. Hope they include regional language content development too - our regional cinema has so much potential!

While WAVES sounds impressive, I hope the benefits reach beyond metros. Small towns have amazing creative talent that needs platforms. Also, 400cr for IICT seems low compared to global standards - hope they increase funding to match international institutes.

Mumbai is perfect choice for this! Our film industry already has global recognition. With proper implementation, WAVES can make India the content capital of the world. Just hope bureaucracy doesn't slow things down. Jai Hind! ✊

Good initiative but execution matters. We've seen many summits come and go without real impact. Hope WAVES delivers concrete results for small creators and not just big corporations. The MoUs with foreign universities sound promising though!

As someone in animation industry, this gives me hope! India can dominate global AV market if we get proper training and infrastructure. IICT must focus on cutting-edge tech like VR/AR, not just traditional media. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hope they reserve seats for women in IICT. Our creative fields need more gender diversity. Also, will there be scholarships for economically weaker students? Big projects like these must be inclusive to truly succeed.
