Mumbai, June 11

On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the Modi government, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC highlighted the BJP-led Union government's initiatives and achievements, especially its efforts to empower women and the poor.

On Wednesday, Shaina told ANI, "From 'Lakhpati Didis' to self-help groups, the PM has done a lot of work for women. Increasing maternity leave from 12 to 26 weeks with full salary is a major achievement for women. The decision to bring SCs, STs, and OBCs into the mainstream is limitless in its impact. " Shaina added.

She also highlighted government's efforts in lowering down the levels of poverty in the country.

Shaina NC, "We have eradicated poverty and demonstrated that the welfare of the poor is the hallmark of an accountable government. When we talk about Gareeb Kalyan, statistics show that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. India has become the 4th largest economy in the world and is moving towards becoming a trillion-dollar economy."

PM Modi first took office as the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014, and is currently serving his third consecutive term. Last year, he took office on June 9 after winning the third-term elections. Marking the occasion, the Union government also released a comprehensive e-book detailing achievements across various sectors over the past 11 years. The year 2025 marks 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.

To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 11 years in office, the Narendra Modi App or NaMo App has launched the 'Jan Man Survey.'The survey quickly gained significant traction, with over 5 lakh responses from citizens across India in a single day. This unique survey is designed to engage people actively in the democratic process, empowering them to express their opinions on key national issues and government initiatives.

Announced by Prime Minister Modi through X, the Jan Man Survey allows people to share their feedback and opinions with the government directly. By collecting responses from all corners of the country, the survey ensures that the people's voices are heard and considered in shaping future policies.

The Jan Man Survey is a dynamic survey hosted on the NaMo App that allows Indian citizens to express their views on a wide range of topics, ranging from national security and governance to cultural pride and youth development. With over 500,000 responses already (in 26 hours since launch), the survey has emerged as a critical tool for directly and meaningfully engaging with the public and ensuring that their voices contribute to the nation's development.

The Lakhpati Didi scheme has truly transformed lives in my village! Several women in our SHG have started small businesses and are now financially independent. This is real women empowerment, not just empty promises 👏

While the initiatives are good, I wish there was more focus on urban working women too. The maternity leave extension is great, but implementation in private sector needs monitoring. Many companies still find ways to avoid paying full salary.

As an Anganwadi worker, I've seen firsthand how these schemes reach grassroots level. The Ujjwala Yojana and Jan Dhan accounts have particularly helped rural women gain financial dignity. But we need more awareness campaigns in regional languages.

The economic growth numbers are impressive, but I wonder how much has actually trickled down to middle class families. Petrol prices and inflation still pinch our pockets every month. Development should be more balanced across all sections.

The Jan Man survey is a brilliant initiative! Finally feeling like my opinion matters in policymaking. Filled it yesterday - very user-friendly interface on NaMo App. More such direct democracy measures please! 🇮🇳

While poverty alleviation efforts are commendable, we must ensure these aren't temporary fixes. Need sustainable job creation and skill development programs that last beyond election cycles. The true test will be maintaining this momentum.
