The third day of Diwali is the main day of the celebrations. People worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on this day and offer prayers to bless them with wealth and prosperity.

The fourth day of Diwali is devoted to Govardhan Puja. The fifth day is called Bhai Dooj. On this day, sisters pray for their brothers to have long and happy lives by performing the Tika ceremony, and brothers give gifts to their sisters.

Environment-friendly Diwali is the need of the hour. We've switched to LED diyas and minimal firecrackers. The air quality in Delhi is already so bad, we need to be more conscious. 🌱

While I appreciate the sentiment, I feel we're losing the traditional essence of Diwali. The sounds and lights of crackers have been part of our celebrations for generations. Moderation is key, not complete elimination.

As someone living abroad, these messages warm my heart. We're celebrating Diwali here in Canada but making sure to follow the eco-friendly approach. Missing the celebrations back home though! 🇮🇳

The focus on helping the needy is what makes this message special. Diwali should be about sharing happiness with everyone, not just our own families. Jai Shri Ram! 🪔
