Finally, administration is learning from previous experiences. During 2019 floods in Pune, many kids were stuck in schools. Better safe than sorry. Hope parents cooperate and keep children at home. ??
This is all good but what about the ones who don't have proper shelter? Rain havoc also affects daily wage workers. Hope the administration takes care of them too. ?
Red alert and still offices function as usual! Not everyone can work from home. At least schools are closed which is good. But for college students, especially those commuting from far, it's risky. ????
Typical knee-jerk reaction. Every year same story - heavy rain, then traffic jams, waterlogging, school closures. Need better drainage system and infrastructure in Pune. ??♂️
At least someone is thinking about children's safety. These rains have become unpredictable now. Glad that Mumbai, Pune, Thane, and Navi Mumbai all took similar decisions. Stay safe everyone! ??
