As a small-time exhibitor from Kakinada, this meeting gives me some hope. The single-screen theatre owners have been struggling with rising costs and the big multiplex chains eating up our share. If the Deputy CM actually resolves the producer-exhibitor tension, it will save many local theatres from closing down. Let's wait and watch. 🤞

Finally some attention to the industry beyond just the big stars. But I do hope the government doesn't forget about the real issues — like the rising production costs and the struggle of independent filmmakers. The assurance of permanent solutions sounds good, but we've heard similar promises before. Action speaks louder than words!

Pawan Kalyan as Deputy CM is actually bringing a fresh energy to these meetings. He understands the film industry from inside, which is rare in politics. That said, I'm cautiously optimistic — the real test will be in the next few months when we see if the five-show permission and single-screen allocations actually work on ground. India needs more leaders who respect creative industries. 🇮🇳

It's nice that the Deputy CM listened patiently, but I'm a bit skeptical. The film industry is huge in Andhra and contributes to our economy and culture. I hope they don't just focus on big-budget films like 'Peddi' and also support small-budget, indie projects. Also, what about the technicians and daily-wage workers in the industry? Their concerns matter too. 🤔
