This is exactly what Odisha cricket needed. For so long, talented players from smaller districts didn't have a proper platform to show their skills. Happy to see OCA taking this step. I just hope the matches are broadcast properly and not just on some obscure channel. Our local talent deserves visibility!
Great news for cricket lovers in Odisha! Barabati Stadium has such a rich history and it's wonderful to see it being used for a state-level T20 league. This will surely inspire many young boys and girls from Keonjhar, Cuttack and other regions to take the sport seriously. Kudos to OCA! 👏
Living in Bhubaneswar for work, I've seen how passionate Odisha is about cricket. This T20 league is a brilliant idea to groom local talent. I just wish they'd also focus on improving the infrastructure in smaller towns, not just the big stadiums. Still, a positive step overall. 👌
As someone who grew up watching matches at Barabati, this brings back so many memories. I'm really excited to see the regional rivalries - Cuttack vs Bhubaneswar is going to be massive! Hope the organisers also keep ticket prices reasonable so that students and cricket fans from all backgrounds can enjoy the matches. 🏏💛
Honestly, this is a great initiative but I hope OCA is also focusing on women's cricket. We have so much female talent in Odisha but very few platforms for them. Let's hope this league inspires similar opportunities for women players soon. Anyway, wishing all
