Oye, It’s party time as our very own host with the most; Farhan Akhtar celebrates his birthday with his guests on this week’s episode of Oye, It’s Friday, on January 09, 2009.
It is an episode filled with tons of surprises and gifts galore, as for once the tables are turned on Mr. Akhtar, This week, the episode travels from Chandini Chowk to China with Deepika Padukone, to Mumbai with the latest item-hotty Sherlyn Chopra in a sultry performance and to Sweden with Mattias Lindstrom and his spectacular ‘Man on wheel’s’. This week on Oye, It’s Friday, Farhan gets candid with the beautiful Deepika Padukone, chatting about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, her experience working with the Khiladi Kumar, her favorite yesteryear actresses, her hopes and dreams of settling down and getting married, and of course… Sonam Kapoor, It’s Deepika like you’ve never seen her before, only on Oye, It’s Friday.
His chat with Deepika does not prepare Farhan for what comes next. The hot and steamy, Sherlyn Chopra sets the stage on fire with her sizzling-ly bold performance of Dard-e-Sherlyn and Khawaab Dekhe Jhoothe Moothey.
The man on wheels, Mattias Lindstrom from Sweden manages to cool everyone down with his spell-binding and awe-inspiring ‘Cyre Wheel’ act. Mattias has been vowing audiences across the globe since 1999.
Rounding up the show is a very special surprise for Farhan – his dad, the renowned lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar, decided to visit him on the sets of Oye, to wish his son for his birthday. Papa Akhtar chats with Deepika and Farhan, revealing many of Farhan’s secrets and the childhood pranks he has played.
