Siliguri (West Bengal), Nov 22 : Around 130 passengers of an Indian flight from Bagdogra to Chennai had a narrow escape when the aircraft developed a mechanical snag minutes after taking off Saturday.
The flight that took off at 10.27 a.m. returned to Bagdogra at 10.40 a.m., anti-hijacking police inspector R. Murmu said.
In Kolkata, an Indian spokesman said the flight had developed a "suspected snag in its landing gear".
