Agartala, Nov 22 : National Centre for medium range weather forecasting today indicated that the dry spell in Tripura and a few states of the Northeast has started.
The centre forecast mainly clear sky with no indication of rain till the first week of December.
Day and night temperature may drop by one or two degrees and will vary from 27 to 29 and 15 to 17 degrees respectively.
Meanwhile, Agro-Met advisory of ICAR has issued warning to the fish farmers. It is advised to collect the fish to reduce the stock and apply one dosages of lime (about 50kg per hectare) to balance PH of the water, report said, adding lime would reduce the incidence of winter mortality of fish.
