No change in Australian plan to play Pakistan in Dubai

Sydney, March 4 : Cricket Australia (CA) chief executive James Sutherland said the Australians' limited-overs series against Pakistan to be played in Dubai late next month would proceed as planned 'at this stage'.

"Any tour that we play overseas ... is always subject to the latest security advice that we have," Sutherland said Tuesday night.

"We'll go through our normal course of pre-tour visits and other things ahead of that tour. Of course (we) always reserve judgement ... if we feel that it is not safe for our team to be in a certain place. We'll take appropriate steps just as we have in previous times," he added.

He said it was too early to make any predictions about what may happen at the 2011 World Cup.

Australian Cricketers Association chief executive Paul Marsh said the ACA was "shocked and saddened" by the attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in Lahore.
