Passengers safe after emergency landing
New Delhi, June 29 : An Indian Airlines Delhi-Hyderabad flight had to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi airport this morning (June 29)Monday due to a technical fault.
'Everyone on board, including crew and passengers are safe. There was a technical snag that has been taken care of. The flight has already taken off again,' airline officials told news channels.
The Indian Airlines flight IC-942 had taken off from Delhi airport around 10:10 am. At around 11:40 am, the pilot reportedly conveyed to ATC some apprehensions concerning a 'technical snag', and sought precautionary re-landing which he was permitted.
