Tele-snippets: Zee Mega Challenge

Mumbai/Kolkata, Nov 27 : Lot’s happening on and off the sets of Zee TV’s musical reality show SaReGaMaPa Mega Challenge. A sneak-peek

Bappi Da’s love for Burgers!
Thanks to his long association with Zee and numerous visits on the sets of SaReGaMaPa, the unit is now well acquainted with his food habits. Here is a sneak peek into Bappi Da’s (Bappi Lahiri) health secret... His daily diet consist of four burgers from McDonalds, four packets of French fries and one huge packet of Lays wafers (American flavour)!

A source from the sets says, “Bappi Da is an extremely sweet human being. You have to take care of a few things that he loves and he is sorted. In these many years, we have never witnessed any kind of tantrum or trouble from his end.” Yeah! Now we know the two things Bappi Da is extremely fond of – Sona (Gold) & Khana (Burgers)!

Whoever said – the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!

The stage comes down on Bappi Da’s Bday…Literally!
Bappi Da was recently at the semi-finals of SaReGaMaPa MegaChallenge and just when he, along with Abhijeet & Kavita Krishnamurthy was about to make an entry on the rotating base – the calamity happened! Right when Bappida set his foot on the acrylic base the base came down developing a huge crack. The unit teased him saying that it’s not just his body weight that caused the crack, but the weight of his jwellery that caused the incident!

Bappida who was initially embarrassed with the accident, later took on sportingly and laughed with everyone. The unit celebrated Bappida’s bday with a cake in the shape of a gold chain. The surprise came when he was gifted gold chains by the Mega challenge team. To which a delighted Bappi da said, “Ab aur gold pehnke aaonga toh poora stage hi toot jayega….”
We totally agree on that one…

Will Gujarat’s lack of Unity result in their loss?
Ever since Parthiv, Deepali and Prachi have been in a team together for Gujarat on SaReGaMaPa MegaChallenge, they have been running to insecurities with each other. Amongst the three, Parthiv have been well known for his songs in various Bollywood movies and have much fame to his kitty already. Hence the other participants think that he tries and dominates them and also gets things his way during song selections and rehearsals.

Prachi has voiced her insecurity in more than one way and constantly knit picks saying that the producers are giving her lesser importance. Even during selection of songs, Prachi discarded more than five group songs saying her bit wasn’t long and audience will hardly get to hear her. Similarly during solo songs, she told the Director to cut onto Parthiv’s song mid-way as he was getting four minutes as against other getting only three.

Hmmm. Hope these insecurities and lack of team spirit doesn’t result into Gujarat’s loss at the semi-finals!

Vaishali ko chakkar kyun atta hain?
Probably there’s a good news awaiting the Mhade family. The lady in question, apli marathi mulgi Vaishali Mhade is fainting quite often these days. Apparently, on the sets of Saregamapa Mega Challenge itself, the incident has occurred thrice. Initially people thought it was probably her failing health. But apparently the onlookers claimed she was radiant enough. Also, when suggested that she takes a day off, she simply refused to go home.

People grew even more suspicious because when the doctor arrived no one except her husband entered the room. In fact her husband ensured that the doctor spoke to no one in the unit.

So what do we deduce? Is there some impending good news which is yet to be revealed or was Vaishali trying to gain sympathy from the judges ….. Time shall speak!
