RSS again bewares Govt of Chinese intentions
Jaipur, Nov 8 : RSS senior leader Indresh Kumar today bewared the nation of the 'China's malafide intention' and urged the government to be on guard against the neighbouring country's attitude.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Kumar, a senior member of the RSS central executive board, said that in view of recent developments and hostilities from China, the government should strengthen infrastructure-road, communication, medical, health facilities--all along Himalayan border right from Jammu Kashmir to North Eastern region, should duly strengthen army, scouts' set up involving local youths of respective states and constitute village defence committees.
He said ''China's intention were not fair from the beginning that's why it had evaded signing of the Shimla accord in 1914 and restricted 1954 Indo-China accord for eight years till 1962''.
He said "since China disowned and/or not renewed earlier treaty why should India do so and therefore we should stress on liberation of Lhasa, vacating Chinese possession from Aksai Chin, Kailash and Mansarovar".
Mr Kumar was in the town to attend three-day national convention of Purva Sainik Seva Parishad, a RSS frontal organisation.
The parishad also expressed its disappointment over the UPA Government's dealing of the situation.
Parishad functionaries Lt General(retired) K Chiman Singh and Lt General(retired) SPM Tripathy alleged that "Weak political leadership had presented India as soft state before the world and encouraged our neighbours to opt for hostile approach".
