I am busy conceptualizing Commonwealth Games: Prasoon Joshi
Mumbai, Nov 8 : Lyricist and screenwriter Prasoon Joshi has a new job these days. He's busy helping the government conceptualise how the Commonwealth Game 2010 would be presented before the international audience.
"These days I am busy working with the government conceptualising the Commonwealth Games 2010," Joshi said.
When asked to specify what exactly was his role in the Games, he said: "The whole thing, except the sports. Conceptualising the whole way it would be presented in front of the world audience."
Working out the entire concept, however, isn't a one man show. Veteran director Shyam Benegal and lyricist Javed Akhtar have also been appointed for the same.
"I am not alone in this project, Shyam Benegal and Javed Akhtar sahib are also working on it," Joshi said.
Delhi is hosting the 19th Commonwealth Games from Oct 3 to 14, 2010, in 17 sporting disciplines.
