Central Railway: One train cancelled, eight diverted and three scheduled
Mumbai, Nov 6 : Central Railway (CR) has cancelled one outstation train, diverted eight and rescheduled three on Sunday for launching of girders and floor Kalyan and Badlapur beams of Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Ulhasnagar.
The Railway will also be operating Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work.
The CR Spokesperson A K Singh said here today that Pune-Mumbai-Pune (2126/2125) Pragati Express will remain cancelled on Sunday, for launching of girders and floor Kalyan and Badlapur beams of FOB at Ulhasnagar Eight trains: 1029 Mumbai-Kolhapur Koyna Express, 6339 Mumbai- Nagarcoil Express, 7031 Mumbai -Hyderabad Express and 1041 Mumbai- Chennai Express, 1024 Kolhapur - Mumbai Sahyadri Express, 7032 Hyderabad - Mumbai Express, 1042 Chennai - Mumbai Express and 1014 Coimbatore - LT(T) Express were diverted via Via-Panvel-Karjat.
Three trains were rescheduled: 1009 Mumbai - Pune Sinhgad Express scheduled to leave CST Mumbai at 1430 hrs is rescheduled to 1625 hrs, 1019 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar Konark Express scheduled to leave CST Mumbai at 1510 hrs is rescheduled to leave CST Mumbai at 1600 hrs, 6381 Mumbai-Kanyakumari Express scheduled to leave CST Mumbai at 1545 hrs is rescheduled at 1640 hrs.
On local line, Up and Down lines from Khopoli, Karjat, Badlapur and Ambarnath towardes CST (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) will remain cancelled from 0902 hrs to 1615 hours.
Special trains will run between Karjat and Badlapur at a frequency of 40 to 45 minutes between 0902 hrs and 1650 hrs.
Up and Down fast locals will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla in addition to their scheduled halts between Thane and Kurla during the block period.
All Down Harbour line services for Bandra/Andheri leaving CST from 0846 hrs to 1658 hrs and Up Harbour line services for CST leaving Bandra/Andheri from 0832 hrs to 1709 hrs will remain suspended.
The service for Panvel routes will run via main line between CST and Kurla during the block period, he added
