Sanjay Ghodawat Grp to invest Rs 100 cr in entertainment space
Kolhapur, Nov 4 : Foraying into the entertainment space, Sanjay Ghodawat Group today announced an investment of Rs 100 crore in the sector over the next three years.
The Group would mark their initiation with the release of the much awaited Percept Picture Company's ''Jail'', a Madhur Bhandarkar film.
The Sanjay Ghodawat Group has achieved success in diverse segments within a short span of just 15 years and has consolidated its reputation in the Wind Power, High-Tech Agriculture, Chemicals, Flexible Packaging, Edible Oils, Real Estate, Heavy engineering, Textile division and FMCG industries.
Their expansion into the entertainment sector reiterated the company's vision to consistently expand its horizons and reach out to customers through not just tried and tested avenues but also untested waters, a company release here said.
Group chairman Sanjay Ghodawat said, ''Our foray into the entertainment space resonates the opportunity available and our quest to offer better and valued services to our customers. We foresee tremendous potential in the entertainment space and deem it perfect for reaching out to the masses. Our tie up with Percept Picture Company and association with Madhur Bhandarkar has been a great start to this venture.'' To name a few upcoming projects, after the release of 'Jail', we have Priyadarshan’s 'Bum Bum Bhole' and 'Carry On Pandu' by Chandrakant Kulkarni, both are expected to hit cinemas in early 2010''.
