New train timings in Ambala Division announced
Chandigarh, Oct 31: The Northern Railway has announced a change in arrival and departure timings of several mail express and passenger trains in Ambala division with effect from tomorrow.
The mail express trains include 2926A Kalka-Bandra Terminus Paschim Express, 4712 Sriganganagar-Haridwar Intercity Express, 3008 Udhyan-Abha Toofan Express, 4523 Harihar Nath Express and 2481 New Delhi-Sriganganagar Dainik Express, 4033 Udhampur-Delhi Jammu Mail, 1077 Pune-Jammu Tawi Jhelum Express, 8101 Tata Nagar/Hatia-Jammu Tawi Murri Express and 2445 New Delhi-Udhampur Uttar Sampark Karanti, Ambala Divisional Railway Manager H K Jaggi said at a press conference here today.
The passenger trains are: IUCN Ambala Cantt. to Nangaldam, 1CNA Ambala Cantt. to Churaru Takrala, 348 Srigangar to Rewari, 1USN Ambala Cantt. to Nangaldam, 2USN Nangaldam to Ambala Cantt. 1BD Dhuri Jn to Bathinda Jn, 2SHB Sriganganagr to Bathinda, 253 Kalka to Shimla, 2DJH Dhuri to Hisar, 311 Meerut City to Ambala Cantt. and 3SUN Saharanpur to Nangaldam.
The arrival and departure timings of these trains have been changed at various stations in Ambala division, he said.
Mr Jaggi said the Railways had introduced three pairs of new trains from Sri Ganganagar to Nanded, Jammu Tawi to Varnasi and Chandigarh to Dibrugarh town and vice versa. The date of their operation will be announced later on.
He said new stoppages had been provided for four trains while the train number of Chandigarh-Kouchvelli has been changed from 2654 to 2218 with effect from December 2. Similarly the train number of Kouchvelli-Chandigarh has been changed from 2653 to 2217 from December 5.
