Mathura train accident; 13 passengers identified

Mathura, Oct 21: Police have so far identified 13 passengers who lost their lives in a collision between Delhi-bound Goa Sampark Kranti express and Mewar Express near Mathura railway station today.

According to Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Agra Division, R D Tripathi, the deceased included Priya Srivastava of Haryana, Gita of Delhi, Dinesh of Gwalior, Hemant of Rajasthan, Nisha Chaturvedi of Moraina, Ram Sanjeevan of Mathura, Suman Sharma of Delhi, Santosh of Neemaj (Madhya Pradesh), Ravi of Udaipur, Radha of Udaipur and Krishna Devi of Rajasthan.

Railway guard S K Puri and passenger Jai Tiwari were also among the dead. Their native places were yet to be ascertained.

Efforts for identification of others was on.
