Air India Express revises schedule

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 26 : The Air India Express has reduced the frequency of its flights on the Tiruchirapalli-Mumbai sector to one flight a week from the existing two under its revised schedule which would come into effect on February 1.

According to a press release from Mr T H Radhakrishnan, Station Manager, AI Express, the flights enjoyed good patronage and witnessed about 60 to 65 per cent occupancy.

The airline was operating on the sector essentially to take its aircraft, positioned here, to Mumbai for weekly maintenance, he added He said the airlines' flights would be operated to the following schedule ex-Tiruchirapalli from next month: The Chennai-Tiruchi-Kuala Lumpur daily flights (IX 622) would arrive in Tiruchi at 2355 hrs and depart for Kuala Lumpur at 0120 hrs.

In the return direction, the flights (IX 621) would arrive here from Kuala Lumpur at 1035 hrs and depart at 1125 hrs for Chennai. (UNI)
