As someone who flies frequently between India and Australia, this is concerning. Hope the airline shares more details about the "operational incident" so passengers can have confidence. But kudos for prioritizing safety and getting everyone to Sydney eventually.
Thank God no one was hurt! 🙏 My cousin was on a similar flight last year and it was nerve-wracking. Airlines should be more transparent about these incidents—passengers deserve to know exactly what happened. Still, good job on the quick replacement.
Safety first, always! ✈️ It's refreshing to see an airline not take risks with weather conditions. Many carriers these days push through and create bigger problems. Sri Lankan Airlines deserves credit for the professional handling.
Impressive turnaround time! Returned and re-departed within 6 hours? That's efficient. I've seen similar incidents take days to sort out. The crew must have handled the situation calmly. Respect to the pilots for their decision-making.
