Indulge in sweets for chill-free days
The winter season makes you crave for food all the time and if it's sweet, no one can stop you from digging into it. How about trying out desserts which satisfy your tastebuds and also keep you warm?
Chef Abhinav Sharma from Amsterdam Kitchen & Bar suggests few body warming desserts:
- Rice pudding (also known as Kheer): A combination of condensed milk and dry fruits makes it perfect for the chilly season.
- Sticky toffee pudding: It contains good amount of soaked dates topped up with toffee sauce, made from boiling the condensed milk.
- Bread and butter pudding: A heavy amount of unsalted butter and a handful of nuts will keep your blood flowing hot.
- Christmas pudding: It's loaded with raisins and brandy sauce, which will make your body warm.
