Three killed in Jammu explosion

Jammu, Dec 1 : At least three labourers shifting blasting material to a construction site died on Sunday in an accidental explosion in Laddha area, about 100 km from here, in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district, police said.

According to police, the explosion occurred at the road construction site at around 9 am.

While two injured succumbed to injuries at Panchari hospital, one died on the spot.

Police said it is difficult to reach the area of the blast owing to poor road condition.

Of the dead, two are from Punjab while one is a local resident, said police.
