Family recounts Beatles experience in new book

Washington, Nov 23 : A former editor has published a book, 'Raising a Beatle Baby', that documents his trip with his wife and daughter to London and Liverpool to visit several Beatles-related sites.

Jere Hester and family made the trip to Ringo Starr's former house and Ella, his daughter even met Paul McCartney at a New York book signing, CBS News reported.

Through a special tour group, the Hester family visited places such as Ringo Starr's old living room, the Barnston Women's Institute, where the group performed in their famous suits for the first time, George Harrison's Friar Park estate.

Hester, based in New York, had connected with his then-girlfriend, Teresa, who later became his wife through the music of the "Fab Four", and also introduced Ella to the Beatles' music, which led her to be an aspiring musician

Hester said that he thought about writing a book as they certainly had a little beyond the fan experiences, not only in terms of their travels, which included dragging their daughter to Liverpool, Hamburg and London in the Beatles footsteps but also some of the incredible unexpected experiences they had along the way.
