'Pals' Arnie and Sylvester Stallone weren't always 'chummy'

Washington, October 19 : Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone weren't always as chummy as they are now, as they had huge rivalry in the 80's, it has been revealed.


Stallone told People Magazine that they disliked each other intensely for 20 years.

The 67-year-old actor said that one starts to appreciate something only eventually, and insisted that their competitiveness made them what they are now.

Mikael Hafstrom, who is the director of their upcoming action film 'Escape Plan' said that now as Schwarzenegger and Stallone are a bit older, he thinks that they really can enjoy their mutual experiences and can have fun together.
