Cop asks rape victim to strip; suspended

New Delhi, Oct 5 : A Station House Officer (SHO) of Delhi Police has reportedly been suspended for allegedly asking a rape victim to strip and explain how she was sexually assaulted.

According to reports on Saturday, the woman alleged that the SHO of Uttam Nagar police station asked her to strip and 'explain in details' how she was raped when she went there to lodge a complaint.

The Delhi Police have initiated an inquiry into the incident.
