Michael Douglas credits Zeta-Jones and Matt Damon for Best Actor Emmy

Washington, Sept 23 : Michael Douglas made a memorable speech while accepting the award for 'Best Actor in a TV-Movie or Miniseries' for his role in 'Behind the Candelabra', at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The 68-year old American actor and producer thanked the other nominees, Toby Jones, Benedict Cumberbatch and Al Pacino, and extended a special thanks to Matt Damon, his costar in the acclaimed HBO Liberace biopic, saying that the 42-year old 'Good Will Hunting' actor "deserved half of this", while pointing to the statuette, as Damon was the reason he received the award", CBS News reported.

The cancer survivor thanked his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was not in attendance for the event, for her support, and also gave "a shout out" for his eldest son Cameron, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in prison on drug charges.
